Novel micro-learning-based mobile-assisted language app for Mandarin Chinese

Mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) was first introduced in 1993 and became a sub-area of the growing field mobile research. It has inspired learners to make use “anytime” “anywhere” technology, key concepts MALL. Though some apps for Mandarin are available, many challenges current MALL technology have been recognized. In order tackle these challenges, we (author her colleague Computer Science Department) designed app (Android iOS) as supplementary tool, using micro-learning theory. Learning content can be easily customized needed according textbook, which allows both seamless alignments with college curriculum more quantitative study large group students over long period. addition, data students’ behaviours performances, including how often student used it what results are, traced.
